We are a diverse team of professionals. Founded after many years of experience, the laboratory’s management backgrounds include: agricultural science, pharmaceutical science, laboratory management and instrument optimization, prescription regulation, drug administration, information technology, and law enforcement.
Nick brings executive management with a successful history of legislative and regulatory advocacy. After previous experience in clinical research, bioinformatics, and evidence-based medicine, Nick founded Confidence Analytics with his business partner, Bobby Hines, in June of 2014. Nick proudly manages a diverse team of professionals pushing the cutting edge of cannabis analysis and evaluation.
As an elected board member of Washington state's largest member-driven cannabis industry association, The Cannabis Alliance, Nick was the liaison to the board for the Science and Standards Committee whereby he materially contributed to multiple legislative bill passages with multi-million dollar fiscal notes, including the complete overhaul of the State's Cannabis laboratory accreditation program via a Cannabis Science Task Force of which Nick was a voting member of the Steering Committee.
When not contemplating the future intricacies of cannabis quality measures, Nick is a proud father as well as an avid snowboarder, wakeboarder, scuba diver, and handball player both locally and abroad.
Founding entrepreneur with business partner Nick Mosely in 2014, Bobby ensures Confidence Analytics’ Science and Service are driven by all that modern technology can leverage: using an Organizational Communication approach and Systems theory to combine lean workflow analysis, strong requirements gathering practices, and company priorities into custom toolchains on which our staff and customers both rely.
Through the design and implementation of scalable data architecture, API integrations to commercial vendors and State regulatory agencies, embedded systems and IoT, coding and testing conventions, Agile practices implementation, and incremental refactoring strategies, Bobby works to create system reliability and data integrity from sample to certificate.

Since joining the team, Cooper has learned the ins-and-outs of laboratory workflow, and accepted gratefully opportunities to share the acquired knowledge with fellow laboratory staff in various leadership roles, joining the management team in the Summer of 2023.
When not managing daily data review, Cooper enjoys playing tedious strategic map games, traveling the world, devouring overly long fantasy books, and napping with his two cats, Ferguson and Caly.
